"Please - you should stay at The Jefferson Hotel. You really should. It was a great experience - and I say that as an experienced traveler ( IBM, Equifax, and other Road-Warrior ). The King room was massive and well-appointed. The staff - whenever we passed them were attentive and welcoming. Please - treat yourself - stay at Richmond's - The Jefferson Hotel."

"We chose this hotel due to its proximity to relatives we were visiting. The staff was competent, our room quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was good (albeit lacking in healthy options). One hassle worth noting was one of the two elevators for the 8-story hotel was non-functional during our three night stay. This proved to be a major inconvenience at during the morning hours when guests were trying to get to breakfast, return from breakfast, and/or leave. Wait time for an elevator was ten minutes some mornings. My 70-year-old husband was able to get a luggage rack to our floor, but chose to use the stairs instead, which took three trips to the car. In my opinion, management should compensate guests. This hotel was also not ecologically-minded. There were no recycling bins and their kitchen used paper plates, plastic cutlery, and disposable cups. We will stay elsewhere in the future. "

"We stayed at this home for a spring break trip with a family of 6. The fenced in backyard was perfect for my kids (youngest is 2) because there was a lot of room to play/explore and a fence to keep them from wandering off. We had a fire in the fire pit every evening! The location is great. Everything we wanted to do (Maymont, Belle Isle, Science Museum, Carytown) was within 10-15 min drive. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed for a family stay (stocked kitchen, laundry, 2 full bathrooms).We parked on the street out front because there was always a spot.I highly recommend this house to another family looking for a Richmond home-base :)."

"Our family of 3 would return in a heartbeat. The location is central to Carytown, U.Richmond, and the fields for the local soccer tournament. Our beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and a parking spot behind the house. The host, Will, was responsive and all communications prompt. Thank you!"
