"The first unacceptable problem was that the property is NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE!! The second issue was that the property listed many amenities on Expedia that DID NOT EXIST!! I specifically booked our stay for The Arcade,Gift Shop, vending machines,and expected the breakfast buffet to be like the pictures that were posted!! Not even close!! My advice from this experience is to call the property first before you book it!! Especially if you have children!!!"

"The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good but overall this hotel is 10-15 years overdue for a renovation. The hotel smells bad, and though the room was fairly clean the rest of the hotel was not. The shower ran either cold or extremely hot and was difficult to adjust anywhere in between. The bath towels were thin and small and basically Walmart quality. The listing on Expedia was very misleading. After this experience we’re only booking with IHG or Choice directly and avoiding unknowns. "

"It was nice the room came with a mini kitchen, however, there were no pots/pans/utensils available. The room was very clean though and shampoo/conditioner was available in the shower. "

"They cancelled my reservation and while they offered to rebook at a Hyatt for us I had to mar at least three phone calls to finally receive my rebooking reservation! I am extremely upset because I chose the hotel specifically for its location and I booked back in October of 2025! Then they cancel the two days before I am to arrive’ seriously! The lame excuse was technical issues which allowed for overbooking! I booked in October! Why did I get moved and then the other hotel was another half hour farther from my destination! I expect better from Springhill Suites! "

"Everyone in my family loved the White Gate Farm Inn! The owner and host, Pauline, greeted my daughter warmly upon arrival so check in was flawless. The rooms were all clean, comfortable and well appointed. The shower pressure was plentiful with plenty of hot water. These are the basics of what makes for a great stay. In addition however, the very large kitchen was of great use in preparing our holiday meal and the lovely and large sitting and dining room made for cozy gathering spaces. We enjoyed family chats by the fire, strolls on the grounds to visit the chickens and rapid fire games of backgammon. On Saturday we shopped for savory and sweet treats in the charming little shop. My family all agreed that we had found a true gem. "
