We booked Crandell for our recent vacation to Waterton. The pictures seen in the Expedia app of the room were different from the actual room. When we arrived we checked in on the opposite side at the front desk of a different property as per the instructions. That property looked very clean and tidy. When we entered Crandell we were a bit lost, the carpet in the staircase was very dirty which was a major turn off for us. The stair lobby was smelling of the food cooked in the lower room. Me and my husband ran to open the windows of the staircase. Upon entry the room was very small. I also struggled to cook as finding an electric socket to plug in my electric stove was very difficult. They do provide BBQ and outside seating but the seats were dirty too.
Washroom and bed was clean. Basic supplies such as tea bags, coffee machine, creamer, bathroom supplies were made available in abundance.
The location and parking convince is the USP of the property. I wish they provide a much cleaner experience to guests specially the carpet, room floor and entry doors.
