"As a base for exploring the island The Fig Tree was a good choice. The staff were pleasant ,the room clean and comfortable, without being large. Continental Breakfast choice was adequate without having the range of a larger property, and the cooked breakfasts were good. The esplanade and a friendly pub, serving a small range of good food options on 3 nights per week were within easy walking distance,"

"The hotel is well maintain and the public areas are a pleasant place to spend time. Decor/furnishing is fun and good quality. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not huge, but is a pleasant place to spend some time. Parking is limited. Sadly, I had an issue with dinner and breakfast. The website had stated that their was food available in the evening during peak season, but that was not the case. The website seems to have been updated to reflect this. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, which I found a little limited as I was travelling for work. Sadly, the doors to the restaurant were still closed at 8.05am, so I was forced to make alternative arrangements. Small things to fix, but overall good."

Clean facilities, very swanky spicy, sandlewoody shower gel/shammpoo and condition, dont bring any of your own you won't need it, and the conditioner made light work of my long fine, tangly and beechy hair. I enjoyed my stay so much here, that I feel it necessary to devote the time to compose a more comprehensive review, but I have just got back from my stay. If you are reading this, don't hesitate."
