"The hotel was completely overbooked due to a tournament. The staff was completely unprepared to accommodate the number of people who were checking in. The make your own keycard is the most inefficient system I have ever seen. I don't know why they have not moved on to electronic keys like most hotels have. I had reserved two rooms and only one was availble by 3:00pm the other room I had to wait until after 9:00pm. I waited in the neverending line three times to talk to several staff members about my other room, and was completely dismissed and told that I would have to wait until after the tournament guests were checked in, even though we checked in at 10:00 am. We booked this hotel for the wave pool, lazy river, and pool area. They let so many people into this area that it was completely unsafe, as there is no way the lifeguards could see if there was someone in distress in either the wave pool or lazy river. There were no chairs available, people were setting up spots in the walkways, grass, and rocks. There was garbage everywhere, the water was discolored, and there was so much garbage floating in the lazy river, it was disgusting. I have stayed at the MB before and have always enjoyed their standard of care. This was the worst experience, and I will not be back. "

"Check-in was quick and convenient, which we really appreciated. However, when we got to our room, there was a strong, unpleasant smell right away. As we started to unpack, I opened a drawer and found a bag with dirty underwear and socks inside. I want to be clear that I wasn’t upset at first. I understan that housekeeping staff work hard and can fall behind, especially in a busy hotel like those in Vegas. But as we continued checking the room, we found more issues. There were visible stains on the toilet, toothpaste left in the sink, trash still in the trash can, and dust on the nightstand. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. I called the front desk and was told a housekeeper would come up. After waiting about 40 minutes, no one arrived. I called again and was told someone would come “right away,” but another 30 minutes passed with no one showing up. At that point, I went downstairs to request a new room, but they were fully booked. Since it was getting late, I asked if someone could at least change the sheets. I was told this would be done immediately, but again, no one came. We eventually went to sleep, and in the morning, we found the clean sheets left outside our door. I understand that mistakes happen, and I don’t believe the hotel would intentionally assign a dirty room. However, the customer service was very disappointing. Promises were made multiple times and not followed through. We were also told we would receive a partial refund and never did. "

"Lots of things to do, but the property has seen much better days. The carpet in my room was stained and rough. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, and the room itself got very little natural light. The whole hotel is just way way way too dark."
