"This home was bigger than it looked in the photos! It’s definitely quant but the homeowner makes such amazing use of the space that you have everything you need and don’t feel cramped! The location is also perfect. It’s right on the water and only 20 mins from bar harbor and there’s plenty of restaurants nearby! It’s absolutely gorgeous in that area and we would love to come back someday! "

"My friends and I were in town to run the Mount Desert Island half marathon and hike Acadia National Park. We greatly appreciated the amenities provided and cleanliness and warm feeling of the house. The sunroom was a great place to relax. This was the perfect location for us and town was very walkable. Would highly recommend a stay here! "

"Everything about the stay was great. The loft was clean, the rooms comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials for daily meals. The location was quiet but only a short walk to main street or down to the dock. We enjoyed the view and watching the wildlife from the deck. Overall a wonderful place!"

"The historic house was perfect for us and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the large windows in the living area and the decks. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of assorted spices, flour, oil etc. available for our use. We especially like the location in Southwest Harbor. We could easily walk to downtown area and restaurants. Beal's Lobster Pound was delicious. Acadia NP surrounded Southwest Harbor and all areas were within a 30 minute drive. The host was available to answer questions before and during our trip. The pictures of the house are accurate."
