"It was a very nice stay. Food is pretty expensive if you're wanting to eat in, but if you are going around and getting food other places, ans only focused on the overall stay here? It's perfect. Cleaning is always on point, personal belongings were always left exactly where me and my fiancé left them regardless of importance or lack thereof, and overall it was a very respectful and comfortable space to stay. :)"

"Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. "Really enjoyed our stay at Tontine. Very well located for getting around Greenock and travelling to Glasgow and other surrounding towns. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and rooms were clean and comfortable. There were quite a few parties over the weekend in the event room but we didn’t hear anything when we went back to our rooms. Nice and quiet. Would recommend. "

"The room was amazing and so comfortable, the staff were lovely and couldn't have done anymore to make our stay special. The food was phenomenal and after seeing the prices we will definitely be planning on visiting more often with our family. Cannot wait to see the renovation but hope the same feeling stays about the place as it is such a special venue for us as a family. We got married there and love the old Scottish feel about the place. "
