Highland Lake Resort

"HIghland Lake Resort is a very comfortable, family-oriented place with motel-style units on two sides of the property and what looked like larger units and a function room adjoining an old New Englander house. There is a large central recreational area with a fire pit and seating. A short walk to the lake will bring you to wooden swings and other assorted seating. It's like camp! The rooms were basic - everything you need and nothing you don't. Beds were in good condition and comfy. Very small, older bathrooms, but adequate. There is a small cafe on the property for breakfast and ice cream. The staff was friendly and pleasant. There is holistic/spiritual vibe about the property - something you don't find too often in similar accommodations. Low key R&R kind of place."

"Clean room, hot tub but we didn't use it. Updated decor. Parking directly in front of your unit. The shower head came off, we were able to fix it without too much trouble."

"The hotel is a little outdated and run down but the suite was huge and very clean. I loved the fact that they have a spa and coffee shop onsite. Although poor breakfast choices. Also, make sure you book spa services way in advance and not when you get there. Overall the place looks nice and the staff were amazing ! Everyone from the lobby to gift shop to spa were all very helpful and very nice. If I’m in the area again I will rebook."

"This was our 2nd time staying here, to attend a nearby annual event. We were again very comfortable in our room and slept well. We did not take advantage of all the hotel has to offer, as we were busy at our event. The included breakfast buffet has many carb options that are good, including waffles, but the protein choices were awful - yes, they were hot, but they were the usual pre-made fake eggs and mystery-meat sausages, and everything to put on the waffles was cheap sugar. We made-do one morning, but had a much more enjoyable breakfast the 2nd day at Daddy O's - we highly recommend that, either location."

"We wanted to be in that area. We thought going to a ski resort in August might not be the best choice but it certainly was. The outdoor pool was lovely and we very much enjoyed the hot tubs!! One of the simple unexpected touches was the bon fire and provisions for roasting marshmallows!! My grandson loved this nice touch."
Luxury Lakefront Estate on 138 Acres - Pickleball, Reunions & Weddings

"Moose Lake Ranch was the perfect match for our family’s gathering. We enjoyed paddling on the lake, playing pickleball and sitting around the fire pit in the evening. We were glad to have a kitchen we could cook in. There was plenty of space to gather both inside and outside on the deck."

"We had the absolute best time! The house was gorgeous, and the view was unreal. We spent all day by the pool and hot tub enjoying the view. We couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay at. We would absolutely stay here again!"
