"This hotel was beautiful and captivating to say the least when you first walk in. The staff was very nice and the restaurant and bar were amazing. However; the beds were very hard and we had trouble sleeping on them it was like sleeping on the hard floor.. They should get beds a little more plush for the price, also we had 2 queen beds and one bed was next to the shower wall with only a white frosted wall between them so if someone had to go to the bathroom the light comes on wakes that person up. They should have a DARK panel next to that bed so not to wake your other person up. It was very bothersome. The VIP parking I think everyone knows what that is, but every time you would take your car out the Valet guys were in your face commenting on tips we should give and was very bothersome and obviously the hotel must pay them nothing or very little. I think this beautiful hotel needs to work on that. And other thing like did we just get a crappy room because we booked through Expedia? The desk chair was filthy to even want to sit in it. lMy wife have medical issues fell ill and we left a day early because of that, but overall this hotel needs a little work to become even better for the price like include a free continental breakfast at least as they wanted like $18 just for that per person so no cool. It’s in a wonderful location and would stay again if they change a few things."

"We will NEVER stay here again. The staff was rude amd short staffed and they charged $29 VIP parking per day and did not give you the option to just pay a regular parking fee. Everyone has to pay for VIP and I thought that was very deceptive!!! The breakfast was not good."

"Very clean, modern hotel in a safe and quiet area within walking distance to downtown. We originally thought the walk might be difficult with my wife and baby, but it ended up being very manageable and convenient. The rooms were spotless, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had such a wonderful stay at The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens. The location honestly could not have been better. Everything in downtown St. Augustine was so walkable, which made the whole trip feel relaxed instead of like some sweaty Florida parking scavenger hunt designed by demons. One of the coolest parts of staying here is that the property is made up of historic homes, and hearing the stories behind them added so much character to the experience. It felt charming and unique without trying too hard to be “luxury rustic coastal vintage artisan” or whatever marketing people are calling things now. The atmosphere was peaceful from the moment we arrived. We especially loved that it’s an adults-only property. It made the entire inn feel quiet, calm, and genuinely romantic. Perfect for couples wanting to slow down for a few days. Breakfast each morning was simple, but very good, and the setting made it even better. Sitting outside in the quiet gardens with coffee in the morning felt incredibly relaxing. The gardens themselves were beautiful and almost whimsical. There were so many flowers and interesting plants, including these unusual orange flowers that almost looked like they were floating. The whole property had this dreamy, tucked-away feeling. Most importantly, the staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely return."
