The setting is beautiful, and the area is full of great things to do. The rooms are small but nicely furnished, but you will thank yourself for bringing your own pillows. You will want to take advantage of the opportunities to explore the historical sites in the area: Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and the American Revolutionary War Museum in Yorktown.

We had a wonderful time staying at Wedmore. Property was nice and the restaurant had good food. We got some wine to bring back. The highlight was definitely the room. The room was awesome, we didn’t want to leave. We would come back again.

Beautiful property, very peaceful. I've been here for times now. Would definitely recommend and will return. Each room is unique, I hope to stay in each one.

Quaint cozy colonial hotel in winery. Beautiful and winery and tavern were excellent as well.

What a charming place! The area is beautiful. But you will easily hear people upstairs or in the hallway, so it’s not good for sleeping in.

Wedmore Place was such a find, we almost don't want to share it with anyone else so we can keep it to ourselves. It's about as far from a cookie cutter hotel as you can get, but they get everything right. Friendly staff, quiet, intimate spaces and little things like free breakfast and wine flights at the tasting room next door. We stayed with our three kids after a day at Busch Gardens and it was the perfect relaxing reward after a day at the park.
