"Location is convenient for both bus and train travel. Has a nice grassy area right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is fairly basic. My real problem is with the small fridge provided. It turns out that the fridge has a big hole (about 1" in diameter) on its door. The hole is due to the removal of something that was supposed to be there, perhaps a temperature adjustment knob. So it is obvious that it's not going to keep anything cold. It's very frustrating because either you don't provide a fridge, or you provide one that functions. By providing one that does not function, you make the client waste money and time to purchase food that's going to go bad."

"Check in staff were friendly. Room seemed dated but that’s fine for the price, however there were issues. White stains on the brown cushions, shower head couldn’t be adjusted so was firing horizontally, and it was very hot and didn’t reduce in temperature when you turned the dial down, even all the way down. Hair dryer was unable to do hot air, only very slow cold air, TV was too outdated for the apps to work. Bed was fairly comfortable for the price, but noting special and the AC did work (eventually, after saying it was set to centrally controlled.) Parking is covered in the neighbouring shopping centre car park. Didn’t try the breakfast as seemed a tad expensive (£16). Not bad for the price, but these things would prevent me from returning unfortunately."

"Good sized room (classic double) although bathroom will be too much on the cosy side for some. Friendly staff, hotel was very clean everywhere and the breakfast was good and bar area was nice. Only issue we had was the paper thin walls between rooms. We were watching tv at a reasonable volume around 10.30pm and had the room next door banging on the wall. We thought they were being a bit unreasonable but as we went to sleep, realised we could hear the person in the other adjacent room snoring as if he were in ours. Might only be a certain number of rooms like this, but we were in Room 128 if you’re reading this, hotel manager!"

"Great location but hotel could be so much better. Staff not particularly helpful, but to be fair they were all very young. Our room was fine but not replenished with clean towels or other things that you would expect. I asked a member of staff for some bags - they gave me 2 I asked for some sugar - they only had cubes and gave them to me in my hand, I asked if I could put them on a plate, the reply was no, they are for guests ( I thought I was a guest ? ) Asked for milk - was given some that was on the side. When I put it in the tea it curdled, goodness knows how long it had been sat there. Outside our room ( number 5 ) at the back of the hotel was absolutely disgusting. Rubbish strewn everywhere, vapes and dirty mugs. The door in the room opened up onto this. We couldn’t open the door for fresh air for fear of there being rats outside ( no window in room ) Contacted hotel with our complaint - no reply This hotel wasn’t cheap, we expected a higher standard."
