The Winter Park Ski Haus is an exquisitely designed residence for your upcoming Winter Park retreat with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, it accommodates up to 19 guests. The home has been expertly renovated. The main floor has a custom storage area, upper-level living space with hardwood flooring, mountain views, a gas fireplace. The large dining table can seat up to 14. The large kitchen has stainless steel appliances, abundant countertop space, custom cabinetry, a pantry, and a kitchen island and a half bathroom. The large deck has BBQ grill, picnic table and private hot tub. The primary level has 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. The upper level has cozy sofas, pool table and bedroom with bath. The lower level has 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, game room, laundry area, and access to a private patio. This exceptional and distinctive residence is located just 150 yards from the Winter Park slopes, offering a unique experience slopeside, allowing for quick returns home for meals or accommodating various schedules within a group. The outdoor parking area in front of the residence can hold up to six vehicles, and the complimentary town shuttle stops at the end of the road, though it necessitates a downhill walk of about 300 meters. Reserve now to ensure you do not miss the chance for an unforgettable vacation home experience.
A $500 fine is enforced for smoking. One dog allowed.

This place is magnificent!

This place is spacious, extremely well prepared & equipped. The kitchen especially has all you would ever need. There is excellent parking. There is a train nearby, but we scarcely noticed it. We went there for skiing & found the easiest way to the Winter Park slopes was to walk 8 to 10 minutes to the base area. The host is very responsive. Plus, we really enjoyed skiing at Winter Park. All in all, a beautiful home with excellent amenities.

Picture perfect cabin

This cabin was absolutely amazing. We came with 13 people and pets. It was perfect. It was in a beautiful location in the mountains. The cabin itself was beautiful and spacious. We loved being able to eat together at a huge table. We loved the games and puzzles as well as the hot tub. The management was great to help out with and early check in. There was space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other. There were so many fun activities to do in the nearby towns. We would love to come again!!!

Comfortable and welcoming

This was one of the cleanest houses we’ve ever rented. It was comfortable and very very clean! The house provides enough space for a big family. We had our elderly grandma and aunt. They were comfortable and able to move around with ease. We ate breakfast on the deck many mornings. It was beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked. You can find everything you need to cook. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful stay, convenient location.

We had a great stay at Ski Haus, 7 adults and 5 kids (10 skiers). The property was clean, well furnished, pretty good location for skiing. If you’re looking for ski in/out then this is doable, but be warned that it’s a decent hike over to the lifts/gondola. Skiing in is excellent if you’re a decent skier as the hill off the main trail is a little steep for some people. The house itself was spacious for all of us and comfortable. The layout is interesting, but not necessarily bad, just different. Private hot tub is always a plus :) I had to text in a couple of questions during our stay and the host company was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfection

Had a wonderful experience. Our trip was a get away with three generations of family members and our lab. The property management company and in particular, Margaret, provided constant clear communication for everything we needed to know. Check in was easy, the house was spotless, all the essentials available with clear detail on use. Located in an awesome spot, close to Winter Park, the ski mountain and nature. I especially appreciated the owner's taste in decor. Very cool! Would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for the ability to house a large family and/or pet friendly accommodations wanting to enjoy the Winter Park experience.

Property checks Al the boxes

Winter Ski Haus checked all the boxes for our recent ski vacation - close proximity to Mountain, bedroom options for large family groups, great spaces for dining and relaxing, well equipped kitchen for dining in with large group, hot tub, responsive management. Would be back in a heartbeat!

Perfect!

This was the perfect house for our family and friends all with kids ages 4-9. Great layout and great location. Property management was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again when back at Winter Park.

Perfect House for a Large Family.

The property management company was very professional and made the process very easy. The house was perfect for our family of 11 adults to stay and host Christmas meals with additional family in Winter Park. We certainly would stay here in the future.

Good and bad

Sadly the previous renters must have had poorly behaved dogs or cats that peed in the entry area and living room of the house. After requesting the smell be treated, the odor of the combination of pee and cleaner was still unbearable. The hosting company tried to be nice and leave a few gifts to help but there really should have been some sort of refund for the situation. The location is pretty good. It is a bit of a hike to get to the lift and if you are daring enough to ski down a very steep hill with unknown obstacles you can ski back to the house. Hot tub was filthy when we arrived so we couldn’t use it the first day but after that it was great. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped except they definitely need a new toaster. Ski lockers and gear area are nice. So sad about the stink because it really made the stay hard to really like.

Summer Get-Away

The property was beautiful and served us well for a family get-away for summer vacation filled with riding, hiking, exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and fly fishing. We can envision a great ski family reunion, too. The house has 5 bedrooms to accommodate lots of people and the kitchen was incredibly well appointed! Awesome hot tub too. One thing to be aware of are the passing trains on the nearby train track- only notable with the windows open in the summertime. Excellent location for Winter Park area fun!

Terrific Family Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were 13 of us and everyone was comfortable. The house was very well stocked with dishes and cookware, along with games, towels, and everything else that we needed. Thank you Jay and Kathy! We will be staying here again.

Great week at Winter Park!

The house was wonderful and exactly what we were looking for with a big group. It had everything we needed for a ski group, with a mud room and plenty of hooks to hang up gear. They even had a whole cabinet of board games, playing cards, and dice!

Great place with great owners - very helpful

Just as advertised and more - plenty of good, usable kitchen dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Great sized rooms and kitchen, dining and living room. The whole family gave it a 5 star rating. We will come back to this house if it is available.

Amazing owners and house!!

We had a group of 15 friends stay at the Ski Haus this passed weekend. The house is great and had enough room for everyone. The pictures do not do this place justice! Working with the owners was so easy and they were so flexible, giving us an earlier check-in time and even a later check-out time. There is a little walk to the ski slopes but coming back to the house, the trail leads you right to the house. Overall we had a blast and we owe it all to this house!!

No problem walking to ski slopes! Great view!

Family of 8 adults and 8 children—perfect amount of space. Beautiful view from dining room and kitchen. Enjoyed the clean hot tub.
