"This is my favourite hotel in China - the blend of modern and historic is really great and I love the atmosphere 5/5 - be aware the rooms are a bit old but that’s in like with the vibes of it being modelled after an emperor’s court. The museum exhibits are great and it’s close to everything"

"A very modern hotel with a great location. Rooms were spacious, clean and elegant with separate toilet from the shower. Staff were very courteous and helpful especially our cleaning lady and the one who was so helpful with the Free laundry facilities. Buffet was decent with lots of variety. Would definitely stay here again and recommend."

"Amazing location. An oasis of peace in busy city. Great breakfast! Easy to walk or taxi to locations in walled city or nearby. Use Didi for taxis for better rate, though they cannot pick up directly in the hotel campus. There are two other hotels plus conference centers on this enclosed historic square."

"The hotel staff was amazing, helpful, well informed, and well dressed. The common areas were clean and comfortable. The bar could be stocked with more options and better grades of products. Still very clean and excellent service. Food was top notch, great salad and entrees. If I good to Xian I will repeat the stay."
