Overall stay was worth the price and pretty safe. The location is ok but 15-20 minutes away from the popular beach area, however walking distance to Lapa nightlife and the steps. There are tons of places to eat nearby. If you want low key, this is the place to stay. Be aware of your surrounds at all times and you will be ok. I had a great time in Rio and will return soon.

After being to Rio plenty of times before we were not expecting this level of service. Adorable house, amazing location with probably the best service we've ever experienced in Brazil. Will be back, com certeza!!

Friendly helpful attentive staff, amazing food, breakfast of beautiful fresh fruit, dinner beyond expectations, scenic views from room (even the shower) and dining room, spectacular grounds, appealing area around hotel, comfortable rooms. Loved it so much, stayed an extra night.

Give them good customer service we were unable to stay for new federal regulations not being able to complete travel because of visa issues and the staff was super understanding and was able to work with me for booking with me in the future. Very pleased with there service!

Everything here was beautiful. Our host family made us feel at home. They also gave us recommendations for sight-seeing.

Room was spacious, clean and the views from this hotel are breathtaking from the rooftops to the breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet phenomenal with so many varieties of food, even had an ice cream station. Front desk staff very friendly, professional and are bilingual. Location is perfect. Conveniently located if you want to have fun over the weekend. Walking distance from plenty of bars and clubs as well as a few of the tourist locations Rio is known for.

The hotel itself is excellent. As soon as you step outside you’re risking your life. Filthy dirty, loaded with homeless people doing very obscene things on the street, lots of beggars.

I needed a place for the night and this served well. The breakfast was great. Only negative remark would’ve that there was no towel in the room. Otherwise definitely a place I’d pick again

Service was outstanding, owners, manager, everyone was very helpful. The hotel is beautiful, chic and stylish.... A place to relax after visiting Rio. Breakfast was special not only because of the place and the view it has where it was served, but because it was prepared to the detail. I hope to go back soon.
