"All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were in room 312 which has not been refurbished however, it has a lovely traditional feel which we enjoyed. It is a large room with beautiful sea views, exceptionally clean and we would definitely stay in this room again. Housekeeping brilliant 10/10. The food choice at Breakfast was excellent in a very relaxed setting and again lovely staff. Encore bar and food was also very good. We look forward to returning."

"The location was beautiful on the sea front and near the electric train. We rented a car for one day and we were easily able to find parking in front of the building. We didn’t eat breakfast at King’s House as we were busy in the mornings. We got fresh towels each day and a fresh supply of cookies and tea. The staff were eager to help with whatever you needed."

"The first impression was good on entering the hotel. The lift however is insufficient in size especially with many guests as was case when I stayed. This caused problems at breakfast time. Ideal position for Public transport."
