"Kevin and Tonya have created a very special motel. Kevin is on the local tourism board and knowledgeable about the area. Both are nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and don't break the bank. Convenient location. They offer locally-roasted coffee in the morning or a nice selection of tea and have a nice partnership with a local restaurant nearby for breakfast (large portions and delicious). I stayed here on a work trip, but would come back with family. This place reminded me of why family...
"The location was great. It was just a few minutes away from sleeping bear dunes. It was halfway between Glen Arbor and Empire. Many good restaurants choices, cute little shopping district. We borrowed the kayaks a couple times, played volleyball and horseshoes. Couldn't really fish on little Glen, but it was still fabulous. We ate at Cherry public house, which was a great atmosphere and great food. We also tried bear paw pizza which was also delicious. Mosquitoes were out in full force, so that...
"Stay next-door to the sleeping bear fell apart visitor center. This location is very convenient. Small quiet tile. Was able to get a good meal at the village Inn, which I could walk to and in the morning I got up and rode my bike to empire Bluff Trail Before heading up to sleeping Barry to ride the Heritage Trail"
