"Lovely older hotel - lotsa stairs to some of the rooms but not an issue for us. Very nice rooms, comfortable bed, great hotel staff. Great breakfast, great location close to shopping, train and bus, and ferry terminal. Great breakfast and nice restaurant overall."

"The Sefton is a grand building toward the town centre end of the promenade and about 10 minutes walk from the Sea Terminal and buses to and from the airport stop close by, so very convenient. Check in was smooth. I booked an atrium room which was quiet, modern but not bland. Good bathroom, living area with a balcony. The room was clean and in good order, regular top ups in the tea/ coffee dept; along with complimentary bottled water. The bed was rather firm I thought but I slept well. Breakfast...

Lovely clean room, nice bed, quiet street, had our own kitchenette and living room and bathroom, it was pretty much like renting a whole apartment but cheaper! We felt like we had moved house and it was our own apartment! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone! "
