"The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. They lost a star because the “city view” we paid extra for consisted of the back wall of the hotel behind us. There were some minor service issues that were forgivable. Our room was extremely small with just enough room to walk around the bed and very little storage. There was no dresser, just a wall unit with a few shelves and room to hang a few items. The room was also oddly situated behind a door with an entrance to another room. ...

Front desk staff and tech support folks are all very friendly and helpful. The key card is not the most efficient but that is a minor issue given all the good things offered at a very reasonable price "

"I appreciate the location of the Chelsea Savoy near a Whole Foods Market and close to subway stations. I also enjoyed having a small fridge in my room during hot days in NYC. The one downside is the uncomfortable bed and pillows. I did not sleep well because the bed felt like a brick. "

"No doubt this place is SMALL but it was perfect for what we needed. A place to sleep and shower and we were good! It was funny how small it was and we made the most out of what we called "the box." The staff was welcoming and helpful during check-in and check-out. For the tiny amount of space we had there was surpassingly a lot of storage (under the bed, side of bed, under bathroom sink, above tv, desk) and we weren't tripping over anything.
