"We were greeted really warmly and had a lovely surprise of a sudden unexpected upgrade and gift on arrival to our room when we mentioned that we had been married the day before. We were also able to book in early afternoon which was very welcome. "

"Don't believe the bad reviews, we stayed in Room 3 outside the hotel, highly recommend. They let us check in an hr early, lovely big room out in the beer garden of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable, staff lovely, will be back!"

"Overall our Family Room stay was okay however had to shut the windows at night due to traffic noise and the odd drunk vomiting across the street Our ajoining rooms were very clean and practical our double was a bit small I personally feel that this hotel due to its location could and would benefit from being licenced and serving food The sea view and sunset would attract Some of the surrounding pubs were a bit intimidating with stag parties etc We enjoyed our stay we would stay there again "

"Was so very Lucky to find this nice village Pub! plenty of rooms! Great food! Great beers! Very clean rooms! Its a old building so it has its quirky side to it! Loads of secure Parking. My host Wendy was superb & did her utmost to make my stay a perfect one! 10 out of 10."

"Lovely clean caravan. Plenty of space inside and out. Communication with owners was good, with fast replies. Location was good with easy access to shops, bars, entertainment and beach. "

"We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The hut was fully equipped with everything you need and was very cosy. We didn’t have the best weather but we lit the log burner and we’re lovely and warm. The area is absolutely beautiful and we had several long walks and runs. The night sky was amazing. As there’s no light pollution you can see so many stars. It’s quite remote but there is a shop about 15 minute walk away. We enjoyed being away from it all. "

"Rooms were not cleaned to a very good standard, lots of bits on the floors, behind sofa and beds. Very dusy in bathroom on window cill. Mirrors were very streaky. Room smelt very musty on arrival even though the windows were left open before we arrived."
