"The wonderful lady that greeted us was friendly and had a good sense of humour. She showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean. We had dinner which she also cooked and breakfast again cooked by this true asset to the pub. A pleasant stay for a wedding just a short walk away. Was it the Ritz? No, but we didn’t pay for the Ritz. Would recommend. "

"Fantastic find! It’s a pub rather than a hotel, but the room was comfortable with tea and biscuits etc supplied. It was a shared bathroom which wasn’t a problem. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. I didn’t find it noisy despite it being Kareoke on the Friday night. Parking wasn’t on site but I didn’t have a problem parking just behind the pub in a small car park. A stone’s throw from bars and restaurants. Would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay!"

"Michelle, was a great host. The bar is lovely and quaint. A perfect pit stop for a couple of nights for myself and 3 under 14s. She made sure there was plenty for breakfast and anything we needed she was there. The rooms are bright and airy and a good sized shower space. "

"The picture of the rooms are fake, rooms were dirty, smelly and not fit for humans. I would not recommend anyone to use UK.hotels.com as you can't contact any once you have paid the money. I have sent my reviews of UK.hotels.com to outlets to advise not to use your service. I shall be doing more once I get back from my holiday."

"Nothing about this property was as pictured. I took photos of the space because it was so bad. The kitchenette was a minifridge and microwave unplugged in a closet. There was 1 towel. "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected.
