"When I arrived there was no one to show me to my room. I phoned the number on my booking but they could not find any record of me having booked with the itinerary number I was given. They gave me another number to call, eventually they found the booking and said ‘the man is coming’. This turned out to be a maintenance man who was very unwell (flu I presume). "We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

"The cottage was well set up with lots of internal space for our trip. The bedrooms we large and along with the bathrooms they made out stay so much nicer. It was a shame the log burner sting was broken and therefore did not really work, on Host and Stay website it also said we had a washer - yet there was not. Would I stay again? No - as there was no WiFi (which for me is essential), no washing machine, a little care and attention on their log burner would make so much difference. "
