"I could not rate this visit a five-star simply because the room was tiny and had no window, so it felt like a dark day. There were people outside smoking marijuana, I'm guessing the hotel was also booked for a school during our visit and the breakfast area was chaotic, so we ate somewhere else. There was a very nice young lady who worked the front desk area, we wish we had asked her name but she's a bright star great personality. When we checked out a large Toyota truck was double parked...

"The property is very close to Canal and the street cars. We stayed at many many Holiday Inn express and on a scale of one to 10 I would give this one. A five. The furniture is old and outdated in the lobby. We were not offered the option of daily room service or not we were not acknowledged as IHG members I requested pillows. They did not come. I asked for a wake up call I did not receive it. I asked to book a taxi and it was not done so the front desk. Service left a bit to be desired."
