"I Loved the property as a whole, and the great price compared to other hotels in the area. I didn't like the Sofa Bed, the mattess was too thin, and had to.ise towels so kids are not hurt. Service wasn't great, no concierge staff, they are always in the back or doing 6 other jobs, not enough staff to serve the cusromers needs. One concierge was serving drinks at the bar next to the desk, while also being a concierge. Absolutely crazy, felt sorry for the staff."

"The pub was lovely on the inside very clean and comfortable. Rooms were lovely like little cottages in the garden. Both our rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of coffee tea milk sugar on the welcome tray. Lovely towels and bedding. Really welcoming friendly staff. Good food at a decent price available. The only thing we didn't like was people standing in the open doorway smoking which is only a few feet away from the tables where we were eating so they might as well have been sitting at...

"The wonderful lady that greeted us was friendly and had a good sense of humour. She showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean. We had dinner which she also cooked and breakfast again cooked by this true asset to the pub. A pleasant stay for a wedding just a short walk away. Was it the Ritz? No, but we didn’t pay for the Ritz. Would recommend. "

"Michelle, was a great host. The bar is lovely and quaint. A perfect pit stop for a couple of nights for myself and 3 under 14s. She made sure there was plenty for breakfast and anything we needed she was there. The rooms are bright and airy and a good sized shower space. "

"Was beautifully clean - which is quite important to me, so I was impressed. The bed was very comfortable and the snacks and small breakfast in the room was a lovely touch. Lady who greeted my partner was very pleasant and helpful. Only one downfall if you are a light sleeper is that the hotel is opposite a clocktower which chimes on the hour, every hour. Didn’t affect me as I slept through, but it woke my partner every hour! Wouldn’t stop us staying there again though as everything else was...
