"Great apartment, nice and warm with a fan if you need to cool down, lovely view from the apartment, our host was very helpful to us, 44 bus route to haymarket and edinburgh centre was directly outside our door, the room was clean and comfortable, shower was easy to operate and any other people in rooms below us were all quiet and considerate of us and eachother would recommend! "I booked this properly as it was only 15 minutes back To the airport drop off for my hire car following a 2 week holiday to Scotland, including Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands. "Always a lovely stay when we stay here. Welcoming staff and cosy rooms. Basic but all you need. Any time were visiting family in the area we stay here, have done so around 8-10 times, always go home wanting to go back."

"The property is a bit old but clean and economical. Free breakfast is a plus. The things I did not like were: the shared toilet located across the room even though I booked an ensuite one - called and messaged the owner but no response; only 1 hanger available for our jackets, and the motion-activated light in the toilet automatically shuts off so I was having a shower in the dark lol"

"I loved that this property (one of the oldest buildings in Callander) is run by a youth co-op helping locals. What a fantastic initiative. But what this means is that you don't have access to anyone during your stay. The email before arrival was easy - building and room access info. Our only suggestions are PLEASE fix the extraction system in the kitchen. The entire downstairs stinks. Please provide paper towel in the kitchen and please add parking info (around the back) to arrival info....

"A great historical property which is not too far from the main roads. A converted church, so voices tend to carry. Great for solo travellers because you can get a room for one person. Bathrooms have all amenities, but could use a larger floor mat outside of shower, floors were a little slippery. Inside main quarters, beautiful stained glass and ceiling features. Front desk was very helpful. "

"Total rip off. The owners cancelled on us 2 hours before book in and i had to find alternative accommodation in Edinburgh group of 8 friends at the last minute. I then spent the rest of my holiday fighting to get my money back which, after 5 days, i still haven't received . I feel like ive been scammed"
