"Clean room and easy check in. Room was spacious enough for 1 person but I’d imagine it would be cramped with 2-3 people. Complementary coffee, tea, and juice was nice."

DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

8/10 Good
"The check in process was extremely slow, staff said it was due to the slow internet or service connection. Lifts were very handy and there was always one ready on our floor. Layout of hotel is like a maze and we had to walk a far distance rolling our luggage on thick carpeted flooring through many doors to fix the room (253). Room itself was clean and comfortable with the exception of the hide bed couch. We were looking forward to using the pool facilities after a long 2 week trips, especially the steam room however we’disappointed to find it closed for renos. The pool temp was frigid and the jacuzzi temp was exactly the same. Jacuzzi needs a reno as rules were falling off and there was sand from grout on the floor of the pool. Sauna was welcomed hover has the stranges cramped layout. Why have a recessed entry then have guests sit with their knees almost touching every wall? The restaurant was open late, and the food was amazing. Great drink and cocktail selection. Hotel was very close to the car rental return which made our departure even easier."

"I did enjoy the food very much and the room was spacious and felt luxurious. The spa is overall good and the staff are attentive, but the treatment rooms have noisy air con/radiators that dripped throughout the massage, and the speakers for the music are sometimes distorted."
