"We were visiting the Uni in Aberystwyth the following morning and with a 4 hour journey needed an affordable, easy to find stop off. The staff were so friendly. Room was perfect for our quick overnight stay. Very quiet area with great views. Lovely traditional bar to have a relaxing drink and snack in. Didn’t eat at hotel but the dining space looked clean and inviting. Will definitely use this hotel again as my son will be attending the uni from Sep I will be making that journey often and...

"Near the town centre so very handy for a night out The bar in the hotel closed at 9 so had to go to town anyway and couldn’t use bar earlier as there was a private party there Well worth the money and will definitely go there again in the future "

"A lovely pod next to the owner's farm house in a lovely quiet spot with a lovely private lake to walk around, hot tub to spend the night in, views of the hills from the deck in the day time, good parking space, Oven, hobs, microwave, toaster, and everything else you could need in the kitchen. Strong little heater and towel rack kept the pod plenty warm. Strong shower but it needs a bit more sealant around the bottom of the glass pane as it was leaking a bit near the sink. "The staff are excellent, always keen to help. The location is stunning. The place offers excellent self catering accommodation with a nice dining area. The lounge could be bigger with more chairs should you want to watch TV. The WiFi, although available in the communal areas, wasn't great but I believe it's a problem in the area. "I enjoyed our four night stay, in particular the bed was comfortable, everything worked, quiet so a good sleep, breakfast good too. The owner was friendly. There was a group of musicians just playing folk and other acoustic to each other on one night which was excellent. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"The place was really nice, we stayed at the top yurt with an amazing view. Hot showers and a flushing toilet near by as well. The kids had a great time with chickens walking around the the trails on the ground. Not an issue, but just confirm if you need to take bedding, we got two messages that first thought it was included then the seconds looked like it wasnt. It was, we brought duvets and pillows we didnt need though, our fault, just be aware."
