Hampton Inn is our go-to family hotel, so we've stayed in a bunch, and several have been really nice. This one is the cleanest, friendliest, most-beautifully set we have stayed at. If you book anywhere else you have passed up this Classy motel! Modern, tastefully decorated and super cleaned. We LOVED everything about this motel and it was a bargain! Your crazy if you book elsewhere!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is refreshing, and I love the benches overlooking the waters and jetty from which you can view a lot of nature. There is always complimentary coffee and tea and apples available as well as filtered water. The best for me is that the property is on the Cross Island Trail so I can enjoy a walk/run or bike ride (you can rent bikes) to Terrapin Nature Park on the other side of Kent Island. I enjoyed the cleaniless of the property, the quality of the food in the restaurant in the hotel, the meal deal coupons offered (even though I couldn't get them because I booked through a 3rd party).

The young women who checked us in & the women who checked us out were efficient and delightful. The rooms were excellent in every way especially the beds, pillows & sheets! Such an immaculately clean hotel everywhere.

Nice location about 20 minutes from St Michaels. Hotel seemed to be newly renovated. Our room was clean with the exception of a leftover hand towel that was sitting on the desk. Other than that everything was fantastic.

Everything was good with checkin ,check out, and the room. The only complaint I can voice is with the breakfast service attendant. She was not very warm or inviting, did not speak to guest. She did have everything out and the area clean, but at the end of breakfast time, she removed all plates and bowls first so no one could get anything else to eat. We had a great time at the Wylder Inn on Tilghman Island (20-21 May). This is a great spot for a quick getaway, and there are many things to do on site and in the area if you want to stay longer. The staff was welcoming and responsive from our arrival to departure when our key was collected from our car so we didn't have to get out in the rain. Personally love when you arrive to any place how welcoming the front desk are is the begging of a great start. I had exactly that great service at the front desk and room was excellent clean and comfortable with a balcony. I will definitely go back and stay at this location one more time. Clean, quiet, nice staff, and they kindly changed my room location when I requested. Next to a pretty good Chinese restaurant. And the sign at the breakfast buffet cracked me up. See photo.
