"オープンしたてとあってとても綺麗でした。古い建物と新しい建物の融合も素敵でした。 かなり急な坂道を上がった所にあるので、年配の方や小さな子ども連れの方は車でないととても厳しそうです。 滞在中、一つしかない自動販売機も壊れており、お水を買うのにも一苦労でした。（コンビニは距離的には近いけどパッと行ける環境ではありません。） また、とても気になったのが、廊下は靴を脱がなくてはいけないのに、外をガラガラ押してきたスーツケースは拭いたりもせずそのまま部屋まで運ばなくてはいけないという‥何とも不衛生でした。。受付に近隣の地図やパンフレットもなくて残念な所は多々ありますがこれから改善される事を願います。 部屋の作りはとてもモダンで広く、ゆっくりできました。"

"The owner “Yama sang” and staff are so polite and nice. Yama sang would drop you off at ski resorts and major hotels and attractions if you need a ride. Breakfast is included although the stay is very reasonable. Breakfasts were excellent. I had problems coming back home since I couldn’t make bus reservations. Yama sang called bus company for us and successfully made a bus reservation for us. Although google may say “temporarily closed”, they are open. Their restaurant business is closed from...

"The staff were amazing! Best price in town. We took the shuttle every morning and then walked back after skiing. The breakfast was free and I decided to skip it but the Ramon restaurant at night was really tasty. Our skis were safe and in a warmed locker. Really wonderful overall."

"Nice hostel in Otaru! Owners are friendly and willing to help out any questions you may have. No kerosene heaters required although there was a small one in my room that I used for a nightstand, not sure why it was there because there was also a wall mounted modern Hitachi ac/heater unit that was quiet and worked perfectly. This was my first hostel stay so the only thing I needed was a larger bath towel that was easily purchased a short walk away. Will be back!"
