"I had a great experience at this hostel. The atmosphere was very social, and I enjoyed sharing and speaking with the other guests. The kitchen and dining hall were lovely, fully equipped, and became the main place where people spent most of their time. The key card system was also fantastic. My only minor issue was that there was often a queue for the showers, so a smoother system there would have made the stay even better."

"We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "

Staff was friendly, informative, and let us store our luggage when we arrived early before check in and when we left later after check out. Breakfast was so so for the price, I preferred the coffee shop a minute away. We had the balcony room at the front and had a great view of the mountains in both directions (if the weather is clear). "Great location with a million $ view. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It was like being in nature and yet close to everything. Lots of good restaurants within 2 minutes and train station 10 minutes. First was just down the street and train was one stop to top of Europe. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would love to stay again and highly recommend. "

"Enjoyed the stay at Bel Air Eden. Excellent breakfast provided to start your day. Just behind the main railway station to all the attractions in Jungfrau. There is a coop grocery store 5 minutes away and bus stop is just a minute away. Nothing to complain, will definitely stay here again on my next trip back to Grindalwald. Try to book a room with view overlooking Eiger and rolling hills, breathtaking."
