"An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!"

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

It's tired, full of useless trinkets and furniture, the musty smell is everywhere and it's freezing cold this time of the year. To top it all, you have to pay for your own electricity which is not made clear in the particulars invluding the convectors heaters that use up a lot of electricity. I would not choose it again!"

"Excellent property with two full double bedrooms and a wonderful view from the top of a three-storey building onto the mouth of two rivers (facing eastward, just as the photo says). We loved every minute we were in the property. The town has several nice pubs and a charming coffee shop within 200-300 metres walking (jam session music on Sunday nights in very nearby pub (Beaver Inn, but no sound in apartment). Overnight parking on nearby street is free but costs something (£9?) on nearby big...

"Lovely clean property with enough space for 2 cars on the drive. Good location for a range of supermarkets and other shops. There were a few things missing from the kitchen such as a jug and baking trays and no washing machine but otherwise had what we needed. The only downfall was the garden, there's no garden furniture and it could do with a tidy up but that wasn't an issue for us."

"Fantastic place! Very comfortable and cosy for a few days away from city life. Has a wonderful fenced garden for your dogs and the surrounding views are superb. Definitely worth a comeback "
