"The men on reception were very helpful both gave me directions to local facilities and one obtained a hair dryer for me to use. The room was comfortable and clean and I slept well. It wasn't a problem for me as I had enough , however a couple may find a single pillow each not enough. Toiletries were lovely and I liked the fact it was not carpet flooring - so much cleaner."

"Is a good place but those sheets I was hitching there in the night. I wouldn’t trust those sheets on the bed . Privacy zero it’s a hostel what you expect . Receptionist where great but the facilities look broken and hold it’s a fast and convenient place for just 1 night, if you spend more than that it becomes a depressive place . I don’t really know how people live there for months . "

"Fantastic find! It’s a pub rather than a hotel, but the room was comfortable with tea and biscuits etc supplied. It was a shared bathroom which wasn’t a problem. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. I didn’t find it noisy despite it being Kareoke on the Friday night. Parking wasn’t on site but I didn’t have a problem parking just behind the pub in a small car park. A stone’s throw from bars and restaurants. Would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay!"

"I liked #20 because it was on ground floor. I shared this suite of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen with a friend. We made our own breakfast with cereals and fruit which was just fine. 5 minute walk to the Abbey. The place is an excellent value. "

"1 night business stay. The property is an older property with creaky floorboards and a few stairs internally between various levels. The room was nicely presented and the bathroom had a large walk in shower, everything was very clean and comfortable. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room and TV on the wall. "The picture of the rooms are fake, rooms were dirty, smelly and not fit for humans. I would not recommend anyone to use UK.hotels.com as you can't contact any once you have paid the money. I have sent my reviews of UK.hotels.com to outlets to advise not to use your service. I shall be doing more once I get back from my holiday."
