"We only arrived late at night coming from the ferry - so we didn't spend too much time there. All we needed was a place to shower and sleep before continuing on our journey the next day. I had read a review previously comparing the room with a prison cell. When we arrived we both laughed as yes it did look a bit like that. However, it was clean and comfortable, and served its purpose. Check in was really easy as we had been given a code for our room. The reservation staff were really helpful...

"Great spot! Right near the train station which is why we picked it. About 20 minutes from the walled city. If you are going to be arriving late, make sure to notify the hotel through the app and they should send you an access code and instructions. We arrived a bit later than expected and the receptionist was just leaving, thankfully we caught her before she left and she was able to help us. "

"The Hotel de Lac is set in a stunning location overlooking a lake. The rooms are fine in line with its 2 star rating and the owner and staff were very personable and helpful. We had a meal in the dining room overlooking the lake and it was of a high standard. The local town of Colberg is very historic and it is overlooked by a n ancient castle. In summary highly recommended."

"I was charged 145 for the room. Someone came in off the street behind me and asked for a room for the night. He replied 94as I walked off! Asked someone the next morning 2 people also walking to the ferry and they paid 105! Profiteering!"
