"Older hotel. Room was clean but could use updating. Lots of restaurants close by including one in the hotel. Employees were friendly. Indoor pool and hot tub a nice feature."

"The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds i have ever slept on. Room was clean and stocked with coffee and the shower essentials. Breakfast was included and had a decenet variety. The check in gentleman was so courteous and nice. 5/5 from me "

"I’ve stayed at the Nootka Lodge many many many times and it’s always a pleasure. A quiet simple low key spot with pet friendly rooms, a nice pool, and a fun game room. "

Fast and efficient check in. Easy parking. Clean lobby and common area. The room was well cleaned overall except hairs found behind the bathroom door. Overall a positive experience"

"When we arrived, the front door was locked. A note near the door directed us to call a number - that had no area code. When asked, the manager said "I thought everyone would know the area code." We're travelers, why would we know the area code? Anyway, we were not told what the wi-fi password was. I called the same number as before but never got a callback. I was previously told by the manager that she was having a problem with harassing phone calls from someone and wasn't answering the...

"I liked the ski lodge/honey feel. The hallway and room was probably 80 degrees all night even though it wasn’t really that cold outside. There was no way to regulate temperatures in each room. Had to sleep with the door open to the back patio area. Also the toilet was jammed or something so that didn’t flush, had to lift toilet lid off snd pull stopper manually to flush. It was cheap."

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "
