"Bar staff polite and friendly, room a bit dated needs a bit of tlc. Tea and coffee with biscuits in room, breakfast was ok sausages dry and overcooked streaky bacon fatty hot drinks not hot and toast came out later cold and hard, the guy that served us wasn't the friendliest or very polite."

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...

"Smooth checkin with key code. Very cool place to stay. Comfortable bedroom with en-suite and lovely smelling soap. Well equipped kitchen if you want to do your own meals. Spar is opposite. Washer and dryer and all! There is a big lounge and a dining room that has some games. Would be an awesome place to host a murder mystery party if your friends booked out all the rooms. "
