"I stayed at the new hostel on King Street that replaced the old building very suddenly. As a result they are still in the process of setting it up but even so it is still welcoming and pleasant. They must've worked really hard to get it ready so quickly. My room and bed were excellent and I imagine nowhere else offers such great value in a major city centre on a Friday night. "Overall very happy with my stay although discovered the cutlery at the end of the stay and being small having essential items on the highest shelf wasnt the best. The accommodation was central although noisy due to local bars. The fire alarm went off at6.25 on Sunday morning and it was gone 8 before the security arrived to turn it off. "

"The owners and the lady behind the bar were super friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfy, bedding smelt amazing!! Bathroom very clean. We went to see Peter Kay at the Sheffield utilta, was a 15 min taxi from the pub. Would highly recommend "

"The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction."
