"Fabulous spot just a walk away from the old town through very quiet neighbourhood. The host Maria was excellent and made us very welcome- even allowing us to enjoy the fabulous views on the balcony. Room was very modern and very clean - comfortable bed, good shower and fridge in room. We loved our stay and already recommended it to our friends. Bakery and supermarket approx 10 minute walk. "

In the Konavle area, close to Dubrovnik, there is an old railway tunnel that was built by the Habsburgs. It makes a switchback on the mountain to slowly loose height. Now you can walk through it and see the bats that live there. In May the wildflowers leading up to it were stunning! Even in the rain!
