"A very nice hotel that was clean and had all that you would expect. Staff was excellent and the room was clean and updated. Great communication before and during the stay."

"Great place, really clean. The front desk however was just unfriendly. Upon check in, she would not smile, and did not acknowledge compliments. We asked for a towel and she seemed upset that we asked, asked for a couple towels and she gave 1, and asked personal questions. "

"The sunset was amazing. Also, the ice cream store right at the facility was a plus. We enjoyed the canoe one day and the paddle boat the other. Fun park next door. Great area for kids. Would visit again on next trip to Itasca State Park."

"We stayed in cabin 6. It was very nicely appointed - more so than we expected! The kitchen is well stocked. There was a blow dryer. My hubby and I enjoyed a canoe (supplied by resort) ride in the evening on the fish hook river- right at the resort. Lots of fun water equipment. "

"When we arrived, the check-in process was communicated to us and was so easy to follow. The host actually came and met us shortly after we checked in and he made us feel right "at home". The home was perfect for us, as we had family coming from several locations, and there was enough parking for our families 5 vehicles.
