"Very convenient to US17 if you aregoing north or south. Beautiful location on the water. Good breakfast included. Lots of easy parking. Nice pond with lots of turtles, geese, and crows that love to be fed. Coffee, microwave, and fridge in room. Nice bathroom with tub and shower combo."

"The property was very clean. I always book this hotel. I only had one problem. Around 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning someone tried to enter my room. Thank God I has the top lash on."

"I liked that I was accommodated and was able to switch rooms when the TV was not working; I also like how the rooms I put under my name were arranged to be near each other. I did not like that there was no elevators I wasn’t aware of that or that there was no breakfast served."

"Beautiful renovation of a historic site. Within walking distance to everything downtown. Secure building with minimal noise. Stayed on ground level with no noises from the room above. Very clean with luxury bedding and towels. Cleaning staff is very efficient, for minimal disruption use the do not disturb door hanger. Great new find in New Bern! "

"The property is in a really great area. The home itself is a great place to stay for a vacation, with many beds and enough rooms. However, the bathrooms and kitchen seemed not well maintained. While we did not need to use the kitchen, we were not keen to use the Bathroom for a shower since we didnt like it . Overall good stay, except clenliness of the place."

"Place was as described, but there was no television and no coffee pot. Owner gave us late checkout to 4 PM and let us use the propane tank onsite. "
