"The hotel promised a $100 pet fee refund, then refused to honor it.
We booked September 20–24 but left two days early because my wife was very unwell. The afternoon before our departure, I notified the front desk. The employee said the evening staff would need to handle it and left them a note.
That evening, I clearly explained that we would leave the following morning. I understood that the unused room charges would not be refunded. However, the evening employee agreed to refund the pet fees...
"We enjoyed our stay here. Bed was comfortable and breakfast selection was really great. Large pool and hot tub my kids enjoyed. We would definitely stay again."
"Staff is amazing, always ready to help with any need. The breakfast has become an expected thing with Holiday Inn Express and the ladies taking care of it here did an incredible job considering the hotel was completley booked with a wedding, high school sports teams, racing teams competing at US 131 in Martin and the normal travellers they always take care of. Despite being right off 131, you don't hear traffic noise which is great too. Single complaint, while advertised as a "smoke free"...
"This was a wonderful location, greatly priced! Our room was VERY clean, amenities available, staff most friendly. The breakfast though simple offering a great variety which was frequently refreshed. We definitely will stay at this motel again!"
"It was such a nice place to stay for my friends wedding. You are treated like family the moment you walk and feel a sense of peace. Perfect location, short walk to everything. Would stay again"
