"The hostel has a nice shared area and bar. We also got a free upgrade to a slightly larger private room which was very kind of them. The room was still quite small, so the smaller room would have been extremely tight for 2 people with rucksacks etc. Overall the room was great. The only thing which was weird was that the bathroom door was made entirely of glass, so your partner/roommate can fully see you sitting on the toilet, so we had to agree not to move from the bed when the other of us...

"Hele lieve mensen, alleen is dit geen hostel maar een plek waar Chinezen op een kluitje wonen op zoek naar een baan. Niemand spreekt Engels. Het is zeker een manier om te ontdekken hoe het merendeel van de Chinezen in Shanghai leven. Maar ik ben blij dat ik een andere plek heb gevonden, wat zeker niet makkelijk was zonder internet of toegang tot Googlemaps."

Wished the windows were larger so there could be more light — they were tiny and near the ceiling, so you couldn't see the view outside. "This was a one night stay for a quick overnight work trip so the room was sufficient for the price I paid. The shower was not clean and water didn't drain well. The room was basic and didn't look the same as pictures but seemed clean enough. It was supposed to be a non smoking room but I could tell that was not the case. When I entered the room the windows had been left open ( maybe to get rid of cigarette smell? didn't work) and room was freezing. There's no food on premises or room service but...
