"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "

"This hotel was the favorite of our trip! It’s a beautiful little hotel in a great location. It’s close to several delicious restaurants and buses/ trains. The breakfast every morning was a great variety and the people working there made us feel right at home! Delicious cappuccinos, too! Would love to stay here again!"
