"The location was a dream. Although there was no lift to the 4th floor, it was worth the climb. Room 7 overlooks the Palais de Justice - a wonderful surprise which more than made up for the tiny room.
Air conditioner was provided but I slept with the window open. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very thin and I could hear a noise every 5 minutes, which I think may have been from the guest in the adjacent room. It sounded like he/she was on a ventilator. It took me a couple of...

"Very enjoyable stay----friendly staff, nice room with an open, tranquil aspect. The resto was good, excellent cooking, all at a very good price.
BUT during the night we were eaten alive by mosquitos!!
At one stage in the middle of the night we had to wage war on them!
Not their fault of course----we would love to go again but hopefully out of mossie season & with a tube of bite cream!"

17. Grand Hôtel De La Gare
Grand Hôtel De La GareEvreux
6.8 out of 10, (13 reviews)

20. Hôtel des Arcades
Hôtel des ArcadesRouen City Centre
5.6 out of 10, (109 reviews)
"We arrived at the hotel hot and tired. to find it was closed. We had no prior warning, only a notice on the door giving a telephone number. We called this number and were diverted to another hotel, the Beausejour, ten minutes walk away. The room here was shabby with no wifi and no breakfast available."

Nice hotel, only stayed 1 night. Close to highway which was convenient but 20 minutes from historical area of Rouen. Room was nice, staff was great, and breakfast was very good.
