"Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!! "

"There was a glitch with check in but the owner when contacted was on scene promptly and the issue was resolved quickly. Property is very convenient for restaurants and although the bathroom is not ensuite it is very clean and modern. "

"The house is aiming to be "luxury" but the quality is very basic. Doors were broken, mould in some corners, the "welcome basket" they had mentioned several times only contained the very minimal such as a few dish washer tablets, some tea bags and coffee...which is pretty much standard in Scotland anyways. I didn't like that you enter the house through the patio door and stand immediately in the middle of the kitchen/living room with no means to hang up coats and store shoes. The view is nice, I...
