"Everything was as described! No false expectations here! This place is all about the Location-Location-Location! Park and drop off your bags and walk Oban! Easy key fob entry. Bathroom updates were excellent. USB connections by both nightstands. Bag of breakfast was soooooooo thoughtful and served as our picnic on the go, driving up to Glencoe. I totally understand why this place is given 10 Stars despite the steep stairs. It's a gem, book it!"

"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied. Normally I would never consider a B&B as I like the independence of a top class hotel but Stephanie and Adrian quickly made me feel totally at home. A pure delight of a place with superb breakfast and dinner. Also little things like suddenly jasmine tea suddenly being available when I had simply asked if they had any on the previous day.
