"The unit was renovated. Its very clean, the bed and pillows are good. The property is on the side of a highway so I can hear vehicles passing by at night. I also hear the next door occupants flushing their toilet. The sink on the bathroom is so small. So, we just used the one in the kitchenette. I liked that dishes, cups, utensils and several glasses are provided in the room."

"This is an old fashioned motel. Family owned and boutique. The rooms have an up north cottage feel. Very well kept, very clean. Everything old is new again vib. Close to St. Ignace and the ferry docks. A bit north of town and quiet."

"Alex was a tremendous help. She worked to get me a refund/cancel of a double booking. (still waiting to see this) Found that we had no hot water and upgraded us to a room that did. It was a lovely stay, after a rocky start."

"I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was to stay here! Please read on to the end! I stayed in the Bavarian Haus for only one night, but enjoyed my stay. The room had a fridge and a microwave was available near my room. The breakfast had enough options to get me started for the day. The room was exceptionally quiet and I woke up to the sun rising over the lake (beautiful!). The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond for me as I checked out. My back tire was completely flat the morning I checked out (I ran over a screw during my drive to the UP). I was unsure how to change a tire and asked the kind lady behind the desk. She immediately called the gentleman working maintenance to help. He graciously changed my tire out in the cold weather. This allowed me to safely drive 7 hours back home to Wisconsin. I cannot tell you how grateful I was for the caring staff!! Thank you, Sarah C."

"The room was ok. The door key worked half the time. Had to jiggle the door handle to get in. Some time it won't open had to call the maintenance to come open it. "
