If you ever consider paying extra for the breakfast- do it. We were recommended the hotel for it's comfort and breakfast and it was worth it. Do try the egg station they are so so good. "The hotel is the second floor in a traditional apartment building. The building is lovely and the rooms have been sympathetically set up with modern bathrooms introduced. The hotel is exceptionally clean. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us a map and indicating the various areas to visit. There are also lots of guide books in Reception to borrow/look at. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as preferred to go out to local cafes/boulangeries. We stayed in Room 9 which is a...

"The hotel was situated very central in old town of Lyon, very close to many restaurants, sights, and tours. Rooms were snug, couple of the floors did not have elevator access. The bath towels were pretty low quality, might be our only complaint. AC worked really well so that’s a huge plus in France. Have to get your own water from the main floor, hopefully they have caps for the bottles as they did not when we stayed here. "

"No real complaints. It’s not brand spanking new but bathroom was clean and updated. Bed comfortable with spacious room for the price. Super friendly staff with great breakfast choices. On site restaurant available. They work with your parking which is about a 5 minute walk. I paid 10 euros for overnight parking. More for 24 hours. "
