"Lovely Hotel & Staff Friendly. "

"It's an interesting old building. Decor in my room was dated but bathroom more modern and bed very comfortable. The main restaurant looks a bit Butlins but the food in the bar was excellent on both nights. My second night was ruined by noisy occupants of 206, starting at around 2:30 and they left at around 5:30. Not at all sure they were guests. Had to leave 1 day early and reported the above. No comment. Doubt I will return to Perth but would certainly consider staying here as the location is...

"Staff great. Pool, reception all lovely. Really enjoyed breakfast. Room had clean bedding and towels but only complaint would be the extremely grubby carpet. Hotel central and I would stay again "

"This was a last minute booking. We got our room for a very good price even by budget hotel standards. It was a no frills hotel but staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the setting was so peaceful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our dog loved exploring around the race course (not a race day) despite the weather. "

If I was being really picky the mattress creaked a lot and the pillow was lumpy but for the money this was very good indeed. "

"We were so close to town. Out the front door and then a five minute walk to all the shopping and restaurants. We ate at Fern’s Cottage. What a delight. The host of the property was so helpful when we checked in. The breakfast was very good and cooked to perfection. I wish we could have stayed another night."
