"New and modern rooms are very nice. No need to use EU plug adapter to recharge phones as the charging cords plug directly into wall terminals. Great location just behind the train and boat cruise station. Very affordable 24 hour parking across the street below the Migros shopping mall. Staff is very knowledgeable and always ready to help. Highly recommend. "

"Right next to the Terminal station, makes it very easy to get around Grindelwald and nearby regions. Staff is also friendly. Appreciate the nice room, and the late checkout granted - we were able to comfortably catch our 12pm connecting train without needing to find a place for luggage storage. Would recommend!"

"All the staff were welcoming and helpful but particularly Jessica at reception, Pedro in the restaurant looked after us so well and was so kind and accommodating. Marieke aka ‘breakfast mama’ was lovely and fun and friendly each morning overseeing everyone had what they needed for a tasty and generous breakfast. "To be exact, this review should really be for the Hey Hotel as I got upgraded to a family room, which was a pleasant surprise. Long story short, I originally had a reservation at an apartment but as I misunderstood the check-in time, I had to scramble to book one night stay at The Guesthouse since we arrived late at around 11pm. The Guesthouse/Hey Hotel is probably the one of the very few that could accommodate late check-in. My family was pleasantly surprised to be informed by Arnis that we got upgraded. As it was quite late at night already and we have been on the train pretty much whole day, this was certainly a much welcomed gesture. The room was very spacious and clean"

"While the property is older, it had everything that we needed. It was quiet, and the breakfast was nice. We had the family room that had two single beds on the first floor with two single beds upstairs. The room was small, but it was adequate. I really loved opening the windows to let the fresh air in during the month of April. The window and the ceiling was leaking water just a little bit. But it was taken care of by the maintenance guy after we had reported it to the front desk."
