"Room was well presented and very clean. The bathroom was the same apart from the sink took forever to drain. My biggest issue was the mattress. It was horrendous. Very uncomfortable, thin and cheap. I had a really bad sleep. The food was good but the service was poor. I was given my food but the waiter didn’t give me any cutlery, I had go looking for some. I’m not sure how they thought I was going to eat my food. "

"Louise was a lovely host, sending us a message before we arrived and welcoming us upon arrival. The property is in a lovely location, just a shame it was cloudy when we were there meaning we couldn’t see the mountains. The room had a private bathroom which was down the hall, but this wasn’t a problem as we had the whole of the upstairs to ourselves. Felt like a kid again running to the bathroom! Lovely breakfast. Would stay again. "

"The hotel appears a bit tired, the en suite shower wasn’t great, floor in bathroom sticky. Staff were great especially bar staff. Expensive for condition of hotel. Great position in town which is what I imagine you’re paying for. "

We ordered breakfast for next day all came just as we asked no need to change our order as the food was excellent ( a change was a available) room was clean Bed made room refreshed every day. owners were always ready to help gave us lots of info on food /beaches and views and "

"Can see why it's been so warmly reviewed in the past! A very comfortable stay and we were well looked after. The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. It's a difficult balance between freshness and disposable containers. "
