"Have just had another lovely stay at this hotel. I have stayed here several times now and is my go to hotel in Exmouth! OK it's not the most modern but it has charm and is old world atmosphere! The staff are great and are very obliging - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is cooked or continental. There is also a bar menu for lunch. They have a restaurant where you can have an evening meal which is good food! There is a choice of 3 starters, 3 different mains and 3 different desserts each day and no two days are the same. The position of the hotel is right on the seafront and the town is a very short walk away. It's also a great place to watch the squirrels scampering about in the lovely grounds. ."

"Great for a stopover stay. Rooms are clean and have what’s needed (and will take 4 as a teenager family). Decent breakfast. And staff are more friendly and helpful than you’d expect for a budget hotel. Decent price so happy all round."

"This is a very old property and so of course it does look a little tired in places and the wifi is not so great but they were the only negatives. The hotel is in a fantastic place right in the middle of the High St and it has a car park which is a godsend. The food menu in the bar is excellent for lunches and dinner. Definitely add the breakfast as there is so much choice from cooked oprions to pastries, cereals and fruit and all of the the food was delicious. The staff were so lovely and couldn't help enough. Dawn the manager even let me use the hotel phone when I was having trouble ringing out. I would definitely recommend this place and the bed was incredibly comfortable!"
